USA's Jaskaran is the latest to hit 6,6,6,6,6,6....

31-year-old Jaskaran Malhotra is the fourth batsman to achieve the feat after Herschelle Gibbs, Yuvraj Singh and Kieron Pollard.

Jaskaran Malhotra powered himself into cricket's record books on Thursday after hammering six sixes in an over in the second One-Day International against Papua New Guinea, in Oman, on Thursday.

 

Representing the United States, the Indian-origin cricketer, who hails from Chandigarh, hit six sixes in the last over of the United States' innings, after they were put in to bat, to enable the them finish with 271 for 9 after being reduced to 72 for 4 in the 20th over.

The wicketkeeper-batsman took on Gaudi Toka, hitting him for six consecutive maximums.

The 31-year-old is the fourth batsman in international cricket to achieve the feat after Herschelle Gibbs, Yuvraj Singh and Kieron Pollard. 

In the process, he also earned the distinction of becoming the first  United States of America batsman to score an ODI century.

He finished with 173 not out off 124 balls, which included 4 fours and 16 sixes.

His hundred, which came off 102 deliveries, was studded with 7 sixes.
