Sri Lanka elect to bat against India

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to bat against India in the eight one-day international of the CB tri-series in Adelaide on Tuesday.

India made one change from the side that lost to Australia on Sunday, bringing in all-rounder Pravin Kumar in place of S Sreesanth.

Sri Lanka also made one change with pacer Ishara Amerasinghe replacing Nuwan Kulasekera.

India are hoping to win this match to keep themselves in running for the final after back to back losses against Sri Lanka and Australia.

Teams:

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Pravin Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma, Munaf Patel.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Chamara Kapugedera, Chamara Silva, Fervez Maharoof, Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga, Ishara Amerasinghe, Muttiah Muralitharan.
