Sachin Tendulkar on Friday assured that the finger injury he sustained while fielding during New Zealand's second innings is not serious.
"It is fine. It is a bit sore right now. I am glad that I have not broken it," said Tendulkar after the third day's play.
Tendulkar, who had smashed a masterly 160, was fielding in the first slip when he stooped to pouch an edge from Tim McIntosh off Zaheer Khan.
He managed to hold on to the low catch but was seen grimacing in pain. He soon left the field to get his finger treated and Dinesh Karthik came in as the substitute fielder.
