Stats: Stanikzai records highest score in ODIs

Statistical highlights of the Asia Cup cricket match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh played at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, in Fatullah.

# Samiullah Shenwari and Mohammad Asghar Stanikzai have shared a partnership of 164 for the sixth wicket -- Afghanistan's highest and the first century partnership at the Asia Cup.

The said knock is the highest by a number seven batsman at the Asia Cup, eclipsing Chamara Kantha Kapugedera's unbeaten 55 against India at Dambulla on June 24, 2010.

# Shenwari's above innings is the highest by a number seven batsman against Bangladesh in ODIs, bettering an unbeaten 75 by New Zealand's Jacob Oram at Dakha on October 11, 2008.

# Shenwari has been adjudged the Man of the Match for the second time in ODIs.  He had first received the MOM award against Scotland at Sharjah on March 8, 2013.

# For the second time in an ODI for Afghanistan, two middle-order batsmen have posted fifties - the first occasion was against Netherlands at Haque on July 7, 2010.

# Afghanistan put on 107 runs in their last ten overs -- the highest by them in these overs in an ODI.

# Mominul Haque (50 off 72 balls) has registered his first fifty at the Asia Cup -- his second in ODIs.
