Australia continued their domination on Day 2 of the fourth and final Test against in Sydney, on Wednesday as the first six batsmen in their first innings all crossed the 50-run mark.

This provided only the sixth such instance in Test cricket of the first six batsmen getting the past the half-century in an innings and four of them have have come against India.

At Karachi in 2005-06, the first seven Pakistan batsmen crossed fifty against India, which is a world record.

Interestingly, Australia's total of 572 for seven declared at Sydney is the lowest team total in which the first six batsmen have crossed fifty.
