Two Pakistani police officials were suspended after they allowed their autograph-hunting relatives to sneak into the team hotel and walk up to Sachin Tendulkar's room.

The News  reported on Saturday that the cops on duty at the Indian team hotel have been suspended on charges of breach of security for allowing their relatives to approach Tendulkar for his autograph and photographs on Friday.

The matter was reported to Pakistan Cricket Board security officer Sohail Khan.

''The Indian team management brought the incident to the notice of Sohail Khan (PCB security officer) after some people knocked at Tendulkar's hotel room door and asked him for his autograph and requested to be photographed with him,'' the newspaper quoted a PCB official as saying.

''We are concerned about this incident and we have taken measures to ensure that such an incident does not happen again,'' DPO Ejaz Ahmed said, adding that security has been beefed up at the hotel.
