It’s always been a numbers game, when it comes to Sachin Tendulkar. He has been the man with 100 international tons, highest run-getter in both Tests and ODIs. Add to that is the fact that Tendulkar has been a part of 72 wins -- a record by a batsman from the sub-continent. Here are the statistical highlights on day three of the second cricket Test between India and West Indies.

Rohit Sharma has got his first Player of the Series award in Tests for aggregating 288 runs at an average of 288.00 in only two innings, including two back to back centuries - the most by a batsman on either side in the just concluded series.

# Pragyan Ojha has recorded his first 10-wicket haul in a Test match (10/89), eclipsing the nine for 165 vs England at Ahmedabad in November 2012.

# Ojha is the seventh Indian left-arm spinner to bag 10 wickets in a Test match. Vinoo Mankad and Maninder Singh are the two Indian left-arm spinners to have recorded the feat twice in Tests.

# Ojha (5 for 40 and 5 for 49), for the first time, has claimed five wickets in each innings of a Test match. His seventh instance of five wickets in an innings is his fourth against the West Indies.

# Shivnarine Chanderpaul (10963) has surpassed Australia's Steve Waugh's aggregate of 10927 to move into the seventh place in the list of top run-getters in Tests.

# Ravichandran Ashwin, with 12 wickets at 19.33 runs apiece, has finished as the top wicket-taker in the just concluded series.

# Ashwin has registered a hundred and captured 10 wickets in the same series twice.

# For the first time against India, Chanderpaul has failed to post a 50-plus innings while playing at least four innings in a series.
