Englishmen Richard Pybus and Dermot Reeve have emerged frontrunner's to secure the high-profile job of being the new coach of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
After the second day of interviews on Sunday at KKR owner Shahrukh Khan's residence in Bandra, of the short-listed candidates Reeve and Pybus look best bets to get the job, according to informed sources.
Former Pakistan national team coach Pybus had a second round of discussion today with the IPL franchise team management, while Reeve too presented his credentials.
Ex-Australia World Cup-winning team member Michael Bevan had also been interviewed by the management for the job, it was learned.
Also in the running are Indian's Lalchand Rajput and Ashok Malhotra, who were closeted in discussion with the team management on Sunday, and another former Test cricketer Woorkeri Raman, according to the sources.
The Chennai-based Raman was in the city to meet the management.
Former India coach John Wright, of New Zealand, is also on the list of those called for discussion by the KKR team.
The franchise management has declared that the coach would be finalised by the end of this month.
