Wasim JafferVeteran batsman Wasim Jaffer will lead Mumbai in their four-day Ranji Trophy Group A match against Orissa, at the Wankhede stadium, from December 14, as Abhishek Nayar is injured.

"Nayar suffered a hip and ankle injury in the game against Jharkhand and is not available for this match. So too is Akbar Khan who fractured his hand in the same game. They have been replaced by Kaustubh Pawar and Balwinder Singh Sandhu (Jr)," informed Mumbai Cricket Association joint-secretary Nitin Dalal.

Dalal further added that Mumbai's leading pace bowler Dhawal Kulkarni will be out of action for 15 more days after suffering a fractured toe earlier this season.

The squad to play Orissa:

Coach: Sulakshan Kulkarni.
