Pujara out for a duck in second innings for Derbyshire

India's Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara's county debut turned into a nightmare as he got out without scoring in Derbyshire's second innings in their bid to chase down a tricky target of 261 against Glamorgan in the second division match of English County Championship in Cardiff, on Thursday.

After being trapped leg before wicket by pacer Jim Allenby for seven in the first innings, the out-of-form Pujara lasted only eight minutes in his second essay facing six deliveries in the process.

He was caught and bowled by pacer Michael Hogan.

The right-hander was foxed by a slower one from Hogan as he offered a simple return catch back to the bowler.

Pujara decided to try his hand in county cricket to improve his batting in overseas conditions following his poor showing in the Test series in England last month. He registered a disappointing tally of 222 runs in 10 innings in the five-match series, which India lost 1-3.
