South Africa all rounder Shaun Pollock could return to the side for the fourth and final Test against West Indies, which starts on Friday.

Pollock has missed South Africa's last five Tests and three one-day internationals because of chronic inflammation of his left ankle.

"Even if he can give us 10 of 15 overs a day, that would be good," South Africa coach Ray Jennings told reporters on Wednesday.

Jennings hinted there may be a ready made place for Pollock in the team.

"Monde (Zondeki) has a bit of a niggle with his thigh, and 'Nella' (Andre Nel) has a sore back," he said.

"I

can't see more than one change in our team for the match."

South Africa won the third Test in Barbados by an innings and 86 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series but Jennings said victory in the final match would set his side up nicely for the one-day internationals.

"I don't want to lose the pressure that we have put the Windies under.

"Their media are coming hard at them and there is a lot of pressure from the public on them, and we need to use it well with a view to the one-day series," he said.

The first of five one-day internationals between the two sides is in Jamaica on May 7.
