This year's Indian Premier League season is the landmark tenth edition of the highly-popular T20 tournament and the BCCI has left no stone unturned to ensure that it turns out to be another big party for the fans. 
While the cricket matches attract the fans in large numbers to the stadiums, this year the organisers have gone a step further to raise the entertainment quotient.
To celebrate 10 years of IPL, this year the BCCI has organised eight different opening ceremonies -- at the home venues of each of the eight franchises.
The tournament opener between champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad on April 5 saw British model-actor Amy Jackson produce a brief performance, gyrating to Bollywood numbers.
In the next game in Pune, singer Shalmali Kholgade delighted home fans with a few of her chartbusters, while actor Riteish Deshmukh danced to a few of his popular songs.
Bollywood newcomer Disha Patani set the stage on fire in Indore with her superb act ahead of Kings XI Punjab's match against Rising Pune Supergiant, while her rumoured boyfriend Tiger Shroff was a hit among the fans in Rajkot ahead of the Gujarat Lions' game against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Another newbie, Kriti Sanon, made a lot of heads turn during her sizzling act in Bengaluru ahead of Royal Challengers Bangalore's opening home match against Delhi Daredevils.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who portrayed Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his biopic, made it a memorable evening for all Mumbai fans with his power-packed act ahead of Mumbai Indians' opening match at the Wankhede stadium against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Malaika Arora also left fans wanting for more with her energetic performance at the Wankhede.
