Stats: Nasir Jamshed emulates legendary Zaheer Abbas

Statistical highlights of the second One-Day International between India and Pakistan at the Eden Gardens.

# Pakistan's triumph by 85 runs is their fifth largest in terms of runs over India in ODIs in India - the largest being by 159 runs at Feroz Shah Kotla on April 17, 2005. 

# Pakistan have won all four games against India at Eden Gardens.  Their series triumph is their third against India in India (minimum two games).

# Nasir Jamshed has become the second batsman after Zaheer Abbas to register three hundreds in successive innings against India in ODIs.  In the 1982-83 series, Zaheer had posted 118 at Multan, 105 at Lahore and 113 at Karachi. He was the first to achieve the feat in ODIs.

# Jamshed is the second Pakistani player to record a hundred against India at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Salman Butt had registered an unbeaten 108 on November 13, 2004. 

# Jamshed has posted all his three hundreds against India in ODIs.  He has become the fourth Pakistani batsman to post two centuries in a bilateral series against India - the first three being Zaheer Abbas (3 in 1982-83), Javed Miandad (2 in 1982-83) and Inzamam-ul-Haq (2 in 2003-04). 

# Jamshed is now the first Pakistani batsman to record the distinction in India. 

# Nasir Jamshed and Mohammad Hafeez were associated in a stand of 141 - Pakistan's third highest opening  partnership against India in ODIs - their highest on Indian soil. 

# With four century partnerships,Hafeez and Jamshed have emulated a record for Pakistan for most century stands for the first wicket in nine innings in ODIs. Imran Farhat and Yasir Hameed had also shared four cenury stands for the first wicket in 16 innings.

# Kamran Akmal has effected four dismissals in an ODI for the fourth time. 

# Saeed Ajmal (3-20) has produced his best bowling figures against India in ODIs. 

# Mahendra Singh Dhoni's strike rate of 60.67 is his lowest when he has posted 50 or more in an innings. His unbeaten 54 off 89 balls is his 47th fifty in ODIs - his ninth against Pakistan. 

# During the last ten years, Pakistan and Australia are the only two nations to have won bilateral series against India in India. 

# Mohammad Hafeez (76) has registered his second highest score against India - the highest is 105 at Mirpur on March 18, 2012. 

# Jamshed has been adjudged the Man of the Match for the third time in ODIs - one each against Zimbabwe, India and Australia. 

# Jamshed has registered a fifty and three hundreds in a row against India - his scores are an unbeaten 53 at Karachi on July 2, 2008; 112 at Dhaka on March 18, 2012; an unbeaten 101 at Chennai on December 30, 2012 and 106 at Kolkata. 

# West Indian Chris Gayle was the first batsman to register three centuries and a fifty against India in four innings (not in successive innings) - his scores were 103 at Nagpur; 72 at Rajkot; 140 at Ahmedabad and 101 at Baroda - all in November 2002. 

# Ishant Sharma (3-34) has registered his best bowling performance against Pakistan in limited-overs matches. His said performance is his best at home. 

# Ravindra Jadeja (3-41) has registered his best bowling figures against Pakistan in ODIs.
