Pakistan have selected two uncapped teenagers in a 15-man squad for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka starting on October 20.

The selectors called up 19-year-old fast bowler Riaz Afridi and 18-year-old wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider on Sunday and also recalled opener Imran Farhat, middle order batsman Asim Kamal and leg spinner Danish Kaneria.

All rounder Shahid Afridi, fast bowler Rao Iftikhar and batsmen Salman Butt, Bazid Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq, who played in the triangular series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, have been dropped.

"Moin Khan is the number one keeper but we feel it is now time to start grooming a new keeper and also because we have long tours ahead of us."

After the Sri Lanka series, Pakistan embark on a two-month tour of Australia in late November.
