The West Indies and Sri Lanka will play four one-day internationals each during their forthcoming tour of India early next year.
The West Indies will play four ODIs between January 21-30 and Sri Lanka another four, between February 8-17, Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Niranjan Shah said on Sunday.
The schedule was finalised at a meeting of BCCI's Programme and Fixtures Committee in Nagpur on Sunday.
Shah also said the Asia Cup for women would be held in India next December, with teams from Sri Lanka and Pakistan, besides hosts India, participating.
A quadrangular series for women would be held in February and March 2007 with Australia, New Zealand, England and India participating, he added. The venues are yet to be decided.
The BCCI has also decided to hold two domestic tournaments on the lines of the Ranji and Duleep Trophy to promote women's cricket in the country, Shah informed.
Domestic teams would play 50-over inter-zonal matches in a league format, with the winners proceeding to the knock-out stage.
Similarly, there will be a separate tournament for the teams from each of the five zones.
He said the zone-level matches would be of two days' duration.
