Lendl Simmons hit an unbeaten 83 to guide the West Indies to a seven-wicket victory over India in the second semi-final of the World Twenty20, at the Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai, on Thursday.
The West Indies chased down India's score of 192-2 with two balls to spare and set up a final with England in Kolkata on Sunday.

1 India suffered their first defeat in a World T20 semi-final. On the two previous occasions when they reached the semi-final -- in 2007 and 2014 -- India made it to the final.
5 In all the five matches in the ongoing World T20, the West Indies elected to bowl first; they won four and lost one.
9 Number of consecutive tosses won by Darren Sammy -- the longest streak for any captain in this format.
16 Number of fifty-plus scores by Virat Kohli in Twenty20 Internationals -- the most by any batsman in this format. Kohli went past the tally of Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum (15 each).
26 Number of dot balls in the Indian innings -- least in a completed innings in Twenty20 Internationals. South Africa also had identical number of dots against England at the same ground earlier in the tournament. Interestingly, both South Africa and India went on to lose the match.
82 Virat Kohli’s score -- highest for an Indian batsman against the West Indies. Yuvraj Singh held the previous record with 67 at Lord’s in 2009.
193 The target chased down by the West Indies is the highest in a knock-out match of the World T20. Australia had chased down a target of 192 against Pakistan in 2010 semi-final at Gros Islet. Incidentally, it was also the highest target a side successfully chased down against India in a World Twenty20 match, beating 164 by Sri Lanka also at Gros Islet in 2010.
