Nike, the official sponsor of the Team India's cricket kit, has launched its first range of cricket apparel ahead of a long cricketing season, which kick-starts with the Champions Trophy in India.
The Nike cricket apparel range comprises a mix of performance apparel for professionals and cricket inspired apparel for the fans.
The BCCI branded replicas of the game day and training apparel are available in Nike stores across the country.
Speaking on this new range of apparel, Mr. Lalit Modi, Vice President, BCCI said," The BCCI branded replicas that are being manufactured and retailed by Nike is a representation of what the Indian Cricket team wears on the field. Nike has ensured that millions of cricket fans across the country will have access to these imported technologically superior performance gear."
Talking about the new cricket apparel range, Sanjay Mehra, General Manager, Nike India, said, "When the BCCI had awarded Nike to be the official kit sponsor for the Indian Cricket Team earlier this year, we at Nike started the task of bringing innovative products not just for the elite athlete but also for the millions of fans in India. We are now ready to actively market our first range of replicas of the Indian team kit in the country."
