Kambli to lead Mumbai against MP

Vinod Kambli will lead Ranji champions Mumbai in the second league match of the Ranji Trophy Elite group against Madhya Pradesh, to be held at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai from November 16.

India paceman Ajit Agarkar will be Kambli's deputy while Vinayak Samant will be the wicketkeeper, Mumbai Cricket Association joint secretary Prof Ratnakar Shetty said on Thursday.

"Kambli will lead in this match, as leg spinner Sairaj Bahutule, who led Mumbai in their first league match against Railways at Delhi recently, will be leading the Board President's Eleven against the visiting South Africans in a three-day match at Jaipur from November 14-16," Shetty added.
