The big-hitting Yusuf Pathan was picked ahead of Rohit Sharma as the five-member selection panel, headed by Krishnamachari Srikkanth, named the Indian squad for the 2011 World Cup, which will be held in the subcontinent from February 19,?in Chennai on Monday.
Piyush Chawla and R Ashwin also found favour with?the selectors, while the rest of the squad has?more or less the same names who?represented India consistently over the last one-and-a-half to two years.
