Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore gives his players fielding practice after the umpires announced that play on the final day of the first Test against India would begin post-lunch.

Play could only commence at 1330 IST as heavy overnight rain caused water logging at several areas on the ground.

India, overnight 44 for 2 in their second innings, an overall lead of 193 runs, were looking to score some quick runs and make Bangladesh bat, but the wet conditions forced umpires Billy Doctrove and Daryl Harper to delay the start.
