Liz Hurley accepts Shane Warne's marriage proposal

British actress Elizabeth Hurley has reportedly accepted Australian cricketer Shane Warne's proposal to marry him.

Warne, 42, has been dating Hurley, 45, for only ten months but decided to pop the big question in a restaurant at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, Scotland, following a romantic meal, reported Daily Mail.

Warne made the declaration in front of VIP guests and Hurley accepted the proposal.

"Shane proposed over dinner and it was fairly public, not a private affair. It was a VIP crowd in there this evening. It was residents only, including Dunhill past players. He didn't get down on one knee, but when it was announced the other guests in the restaurant stood up and applauded. Everyone there was absolutely delighted," a source added.

Hurley, who has a son from a previous relationship, divorced textiles heir Arun Nayar in June while Warne divorced his wife Simone in 2006 after ten years of marriage.
