T20 WC hero Joginder injured in road accident

Joginder Sharma, who was a member of India's Twenty20 World Cup-winning squad in 2007, was injured following a road accident near Noida, on Thursday.

Joginder SharmaSharma was admitted to a hospital near Noida, television channel Times Now reported.

The Haryana all-rounder became an instant hero when he dismissed Pakistan's Misbah-ul-Haq in the final over of the T20 World Cup final to take India to victory.

The 28-year-old has not played for India since but is a part of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
