Cricketer Ajay Jadeja can play domestic matches, the Delhi high court ruled on Wednesday.

A division bench comprising Justice B A Khan and Justice O P Diwedi passed an ex-parte interim order to that effect.

The order was passed on an appeal filed by Jadeja against the May 26 order of a single judge bench of the same court turning down the cricketer's plea for return to grade cricket.

The bench also issued notice to the Board for Control of Cricket in India seeking reply to Jadeja's appeal by July 21.
