Irfan Pathan

Irfan Pathan is the latest victim of trolls.

The Baroda all-rounder’s wife Safa Baig can be seen wearing a burqa in the photograph but her exposed hands and nail polish has enraged many.

Pathan uploaded the photograph on Facebook with the caption, "This girl is trouble" and from then on fans have posted ridiculous comments.

Pathan was ridiculed for not only uploading picture of his wife, in which half of her face is visible, but also for wearing nail polish.

The photograph, in which Baig is covering her face, drew flak from fans for ‘letting her show her arms and part of face.’ His wife is also advised to apply mehendi (henna) instead of nail polish.

The comments ranged from advising him to remove the picture to slamming him for not being ‘a good Muslim’.

“Hiding face is not Farz…But hiding arms is farz Irfan bhai... She’is hiding her face its good, may Allah bless her… But tell her to hide her arms too...” another fan wrote.

It did not deter Pathan to upload that same photograph on Instagram and Twitter with a caption, “Kuch to log kahenge logo ka kaam hai kehna (people will say things it s their business to talk) but always #love #travel”.

That's a perfect response.

Not long ago, India pacer Mohammed Shami was subjected to similar treatment by cricket fans on social media, after he had posted a photo with his wife.
