The former Ranji player is said to have played for Vidharbha between 2002 and 2005. In addition to this the police have also arrested three more bookies.
All will be questioned, Delhi police sources informed.
Meanwhile the threat perception involving the three Rajasthan Royals cricketers arrested in the IPL spot-fixing episode is being probed.
Preliminary investigations reveal that not only did telephone calls come from Dubai, but bookies resorted to various techniques to convince the players.
But the police have revealed that although the players have claimed that they were threatened, the initial part of the agreement was suo motu in nature. All of them willingly agreed to spot fixing, the police also claimed.
