IPL GC to meet in Mumbai ahead of players' auction

The Governing Council of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is to meet, in Mumbai, on Friday ahead of the players' auction which is scheduled to be held on February 6.

Among other things, the IPL GC is expected to discuss the budget for the upcoming IPL season commencing on April 8, it was learnt.

The T20 League's governing panel is headed by Rajeev Shukla, with Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ajay Shirke, M P Pandove, Sourav Ganguly and all the office bearers of the Board of Control for Cricket in India  (BCCI), including secretary-convener, as its other members.
