Alex Hales will replace the injured Correy Anderson in Mumbai Indians’ squad for the remainder of the Indian Premier League this season.
The England batsman will be available for selection for Mumbai Indians' last league game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 17, subject to completion of contractual paperwork formalities.
The 26-year-old represented England in 33 T20 Internationals. He has an average of 37.92 and strike rate of 138.46.
Anderson was ruled out of the T20 tournament with a minor fracture in one of his fingers.
