Sahil Peerzada claimed on Monday that he asked Luke Pomersbach to leave his hotel room after he allegedly molested his fiancée, but they got into a brawl when the Australian cricketer punched him.

Peerzada, who underwent a surgery on his injured ear, was discharged from hospital during the day. He was admitted to Primus hospital in Delhi on Friday morning soon after the incident.

Pomersbach was arrested on Friday after Zohal Hamid, an American national, alleged that he molested her and hit Peerzada.

"I am feeling a little unwell," Peerzada, a model-turned Mumbai businessman, told reporters.

"He (Pomersbach) misbehaved with her (Zohal). That's it. I politely asked him to leave. He did not," he said. He said the court will decide on the case of molestation.

Detailing the sequence of events, Peerzada claimed that the cricketer invited him to his room but he declined as he was tired.

"He followed us to our room. My friend opened the door. We went inside and within five minutes time, if I am not wrong, he misbehaved.

"And you know, how the guys are like. I asked him politely, 'Luke, please leave'. He did not and pushed me. So that's how the brawl happened," he told Headlines Today.

Asked whether his friends who were in the room retaliated when he was allegedly punched by Pomersbach, he said, "Yes, they did. We got into a fight. That thing happened. It's the guys thing, you know...," he said.

On the status of his relationship with Hamid and whether she is his fiancee, he replied, "Yes, she is mine… we are dating each other."

He said Hamid told him that another person was with Pomersbach when he returned once again to the room.

Peerzada said Sidhartha Mallya is a "nice guy and good host" but he should apologise for casting aspersions on the character of Hamid.

"She was behaving nicely there [at the IPL party]. I did not see her behaving weird," he said.

After Pomersbach was arrested, Mallya had tweeted, "She was all over me last night and asked for my BBM (Blackberry Messenger) pin, so if he was her fiance, she wasn't exactly behaving like a future wife."
