# Pune Warriors have become the second side after Rajasthan Royals to win both their matches in the present edition of the IPL.

# Pune Warriors (166/6) recorded their second highest total in the IPL, next only to the 187 for five against Delhi Daredevils at Mumbai on April 17, 2011.

# Harmeet Singh has bowled brilliantly to claim 3 for 24 -- the best by a Punjab bowler against Pune Warriors in the IPL.

# Harmeet's performance is his best in Twenty20. He has bagged three wickets in an innings for the first time in Twenty20.

# In the course of his 18, David Hussey reclaimed his batting record for the highest run-aggregate in Twenty20. With 4301 runs at an average of 31.62 in 173 matches, he is the leading run-scorer in Twenty20, eclipsing Brad Hodge's tally of 4291 (ave.36.05) in 146 matches.

# Marlon Samuels (46 off 39 balls) has recorded his highest innings for Pune Warriors in the IPL.

# Samuels and Robin Uthappa were involved in a third-wicket partnership of 81 -- Pune's best for any wicket in the IPL, eclipsing the 60 for the second wicket between Jesse Ryder and Mithun Manhas against Kings XI Punjab at Mumbai on April 10, 2011.

# Samuels has been adjudged the Man of the Match for the first time in the IPL.

# Pune Warriors have won all three games against Kings XI Punjab in the IPL. They have now won six and lost nine out of 16 contested in the IPL (No Result 1).
