Statistical highlights of the Indian Premier League match between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dharamsala.

# Shaun Marsh is the top run-getter in the IPL 4, aggregating 491 at an average of 44.63 in 13 matches,
including four fifties.

# Paul Valthaty (20) took his tally in the IPL 2011 to 458 at an average of 38.16 in 13 matches.

# Adam Gilchrist (106 off 55 balls) has recorded his second century in the IPL.

# Gilchrist has completed his 300 runs in the IPL 4, aggregating 332 at an average of 25.53, including one hundred and one fifty in 13 matches.

# Gilchrist has recorded nine sixes during his innings of 106, surpassing Shaun Marsh's tally of seven sixes for Punjab during his outstanding knock of 115 off 69 balls against Rajasthan at Mohali on May 28, 2008.

# Gilchrist has equalled Chris Gayle's tally of nine sixes against Punjab at Bangalore on May 6.  Both share a record for most sixes in an innings in the fourth edition of the IPL. 

# Gilchrist became the first batsman to post 80 sixes in the IPL, outstripping Yusuf Pathan's tally of 72.

# Fifteen sixes were recorded in Punjab's total -- the most in the IPL 4 -- the tally is the third highest in the IPL, next only to Chennai's 17 against Rajasthan at Chepauk on April 3, 2010 and Chennai's 16 against Punjab at Mohali on April 19, 2008.

# Twenty seven extras conceded by Bangalore is a record in the fourth edition of the IPL -- the second highest in the IPL history. Deccan had conceded 28 extras in Kolkata Knight Riders' total of 112 for 5 at Kolkata on April 20, 2008.

# The top three batsmen with most sixes in the IPL 4 are -- Chris Gayle (32), Shaun Marsh (20) and Paul Valthaty (20). 

# Chawla took his wickets' tally to 57 at an average of 23.71 in 54 matches - the most by a Punjab bowler. Irfan Pathan had bagged 47 wickets for Punjab.

# Ryan Harris (3/28) has produced his best bowling figures in the IPL 4.

# Adam Gilchrist, during the course of his third hundred in Twenty20, has completed his 2,000 runs in Twenty20 -- 2105 at an average of 26.64, including ten fifties, in 81 matches. 

# Gilchrist, with nine sixes, has completed a century of sixes in Twenty20 (108).

# Gilchrist and Marsh were involved in a second wicket partnership of 206 -- the first double century stand in Twenty20, obliterating the 186 for the second wicket by Justin Langer and Cameron White for Somerset against Gloucestershire at Taunton on June 27, 2006.

# The previous best partnership in the IPL was 155 (unbroken) for the first wicket between Gilchrist and Laxman for Deccan Chargers against Mumbai Indians at Mumbai on April 27, 2008.

# Gilchrist and Chris Gayle share a record for most centuries (two) in the IPL.

# Brendon McCullum, Adam Gilchrist, Ian Harvey and Chris Gayle share a record for most centuries (3) in Twenty20.

# Shaun Marsh has posted 30 runs off van der Wath -- 6,6,4,4,4,6 -- the most by a Punjab player in the IPL 4.

# Gilchrist became the first wicketkeeper to post a hundred and effect three dismissals in the same IPL match.

# Bangalore have produced an unwanted feat of losing two games by biggest margins in terms of runs in the IPL. 

# Kings XI Punjab (232/2) have recorded their highest total in the IPL, bettering the 221 for three against Rajasthan at Mohali on May 28, 2008.

# Punjab's total of 232 for two is the highest by any team in the IPL 4, surpassing Delhi's 231 for four against Punjab at Delhi on April 23.

# Punjab's 232 for two is the third highest total in the IPL history, next only to Chennai's two totals -- 246 for five against Rajasthan at Chennai on April 3, 2010 and 240 for five against Punjab at Mohali on April 19, 2008.
