Leg-spinner Karn Sharma has been ruled out of India's tour of Zimbabwe due to a fractured finger.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India said there won’t be a replacement for the 27-year-old bowler.

"The BCCI medical team confirms that leg-spinner Karn Sharma has been ruled out of India's tour of Zimbabwe, starting on 7 July 2015, due to injury. Karn has fractured his left middle finger. There will be no replacement for him for the Zimbabwe tour," read a statement.

India, led by Ajinkya Rahane, will play Zimbabwe in three ODIs and one T20 International.

The series starts on July 10.
