RP Singh to make ODI debut

India captain Sourav Ganguly won the toss and elected to field in the last league match of the Videocon Cup tri-series against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday.

The visitors, having already qualified for the final, opted to rest their left-arm opening pace bowlers Irfan Pathan and Ashish Nehra.

Fast bowler Rudra Pratap Singh will make his one-day international debut in the game.

Left-arm spinner Murali Karthik, who was the super sub for the game against New Zealand on Friday, was included in the playing eleven.

For India, Venugopal Rao will serve as the supersub.
