South Africa captain Grame Smith won the toss and elected to bat against India in the Super Eights match of the ICC World Twenty20 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, on Tuesday.

The match is virtually of no consequence for both teams after India were knocked out of the tournament, and South Africa having already made it to the last four.

Surprisingly, India decided to retain the same team that went down to England by three runs in their previous match.

South Africa, though, made one change, bringing in pacer Morne Morkel for the rested Jacques Kallis.

Teams:

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, RP Singh.

South Africa: Graeme Smith (captain), Herschelle Gibbs, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Mark Boucher, Albie Morkel, Roelof van der Merwe, Wayne Parnell, Johan Botha, Morne Morkel, Dale Steyn.
