Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan on Wednesday said he would demonstrate against President George W Bush during his upcoming visit to Pakistan.

"I do not know what sort of welcome he (the US President) is going to get from the government but, I can tell you I will be demonstrating against him," Khan told NDTV news channel.

He was participating in a programme "India-Pakistan Debates", a release by the TV news channel said.

Pakistan's Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, said though protests were expected, his government would extend a welcome appropriate to President of any country.
