South African bowlers Charl Langeveldt and Makhaya Ntini were fined for "excessive appealing" during the third one-day international against West Indies at Bridgetown, Barbados on Wednesday.
Langeveldt was fined 20 per cent of his match fee, while Ntini had to suffer a 25 per cent cut.
The charge was brought by the match umpires Darrell Hair, Eddie Nicholls and Billy Doctrove.
The verdict was given by ICC match referee Jeff Crowe after an official hearing, which was attended by Langeveldt, South African team manager Goolam Rajah and umpires Hair, Nicholls and Doctrove.
Langeveldt and Ntini were found to have breached 1.5 Level 1 of the ICC Code which relates to 'the practice of celebrating a dismissal before the decision has been given'.
"Charl, albeit emotional in the dramatic moment, simply did not turn to appeal to the umpire for an lbw decision and pleaded guilty to the breach," said Crowe.
All Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player's match fee and the match referee's decision is final and binding.
