Anjum Chopra struck a well-made 71 as India won the second one-day international women's cricket match against England by four wickets to level the five-match series 1-1 at the K D Singh Babu stadium in Lucknow on Thursday.

Electing to bat, the England team lost wickets at regular intervals and could make only 162 in their allotted quota of 50 overs.

Barring C Atkins, who made 34 off 61 balls, none of the English batswomen could offer any resistance to the fine bowling by the Indians on a wicket which offered some help to the bowlers in the morning but kept a trifle low in the second half of the match.

Amita Sharma accounted for three wickets while Jhulan Goswami and Reema Malhotra took two wickets each.
