Statistical highlights of the fifth and final One-dayer between India and England in Leeds on Friday.

# Suresh Raina (160 runs at an average of 53.33 and four wickets at 29.25 runs apiece) has got the Player of the series award for the second time in ODIs.

# Raina had first got the award against England for amassing 277 runs at an average of 92.33 besides capturing two wickets (ave.14.50) in five games in the 2012-13 series against England.

# Ajinkya Rahane, with 192 runs (ave. 48.00), has top-scored in the just concluded series. Not even a single batsman could make 200 runs in a bilateral series for the first time involving India and England (minimum four ODIs).

# Ravindra Jadeja recorded his 10th fifty in ODIs – his third vs England. His magnificent 87 off 68 balls is his highest score in ODIs, eclipsing the 78 vs England at The Oval on September 9, 2011.

# Jadeja's innings is the joint highest by India's No 7 batsman in ODIs in England. Mohammad Kaif had posted an unbeaten 87 off 75 balls vs England at Lord's on July 13, 2002.

# Jadeja's 87 is the joint second highest by a number seven batsman or below.  Jos Buttler had registered 121 off 74 balls vs Sri Lanka at Lord's on May 31, 2014.

# Jadeja's outstanding strike rate of 127.94 is the highest by an Indian number seven batsman against England in ODIs (minimum 75).

For the first time in ODIs Rayudu posts back to back fifties

# For the first time in limited-over internationals, Ambati Rayudu posted back to back fifties - 64 not out off 78 balls at Nottingham and 53 off 65 balls at Leeds.

# Rayudu's second half century against England is his fourth in ODIs.

# Virat Kohli is yet to register a fifty in the entire tour of England - 14 innings in a row, registering his worst sequence.

# Mohammed Shami took his wickets' tally to 28 (ave.24.92) in 13 matches. The said tally is the second highest in ODIs in 2014, next only to the 29 (ave.26.48) in 17 matches by Lasith Malinga.

Root receives his first Man of the Match award against India

# Joe Root got his first Man of the Match award aginst India - his second in ODIs. His superb innings is the first century by an England batsman against India at Headingley, Leeds.

# Root (113 off 108 balls) recorded his highest score in ODIs, bettering 107 off 122 balls vs West Indies at North Sound on March 5, 2014.

# Root's first century vs India is his second in ODIs. He became the third England batsman after David Gower and Eoin Morgan to post two centuries by the age of 23.

# Ben Stokes (3/47) recorded his best bowling figures against India in ODIs.

# Overall, five centuries by four players have been registered for England at Headingley, Leeds in ODIs.  Marcus Trescothick is the only one to post two centuries at this venue.

# Just 11 centuries have been recorded by England's number four batsmen in ODIs. The said tally is the least by the top eight sides. 29 centuries each have been recorded for India and Pakistan.

# Jos Buttler's splendid 49 off 40 balls is his highest score against India in ODIs.

# Buttler and Root were associated in a stand of 108 - England's fifth century stand against India for the fifth wicket in ODIs - their highest is 174 between Andrew Flintoff and Paul Collingwood at The Oval on September 3, 2004.

# England have won 4 and lost two out of six played vs India at Headingley, Leeds.

# Alastair Cook has captained in 63 ODIs - the most by an England skipper, overtaking the 62 by Andrew Strauss.

# England (294 for seven) have registered their highest against India at Leeds, eclipsing the 266 for six on July 13, 1974.

# Cook, with 2383 runs (ave.40.38) in 63 matches, is the leading run-scorer for England as captain in ODIs, bettering the 2367 (ave.39.45) in 62 matches by Andrew Strauss.
