The Indian team for the last two matches in the four-Test series against England will be picked in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The third Test, in Kolkata, begins on December 5, while the fourth is in Nagpur from December 13.
It will be interesting to see if the selectors make changes to the team following the crushing 10-wicket defeat in the second Test in Mumbai, on Monday.
The series is currently level at 1-1 following India's nine-wicket victory in the first Test in Ahmedabad.
The selectors will also pick the squad for the two Twenty20 matches, in Mumbai and Pune, on December 20 and 22 respectively.
Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not in favour of making any changes to the side that was beaten in Mumbai.
Asked if team will have a new look for the third Test, he replied: "No big changes."
There are question marks over the form of some players, including veteran Sachin Tendulkar, who failed in all the three innings he batted in the series so far.
His poor run with the bat in 2012 continues. He has aggregated just 29 runs in the series so far, at an average of 9.66.
Spinners R Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh also struggled to make an impact with the ball on a turning wicket at the Wankhede stadium.
Despite that, Dhoni insisted he is not in favour of making changes to the team and would like to give his players more chances to prove their worth.
"Not like we don't have replacements. But you don't chop and change players on the basis of one or two Tests. We have to give them a fair run and that is what it is all about; otherwise, you will keep changing players every game.
"So, it is always good to give players a fair amount of games together so they are also comfortable and not thinking of selection," he said, after the Mumbai Test.
