Allan Donald will stay on as a consultant to England's fast-bowling programme until the end of the Twenty/20 World Championship in his native South Africa in September.

Donald, whose initial five-week deal was due to end after Saturday's final one-day game against West Indies, will continue working with fast-bowling coach Kevin Shine, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Tuesday.

"We have an exciting crop of bowlers in the England ranks and I'm looking forward to continue working with them for the remainder of the summer and the first tour of the winter," Donald told the ECB's Web site (www.ecb.co.uk).

Along with the Twenty/20 tournament in South Africa, Donald will be working with England during the forthcoming Test and one-day series against India.

Donald is part of England's new-look coaching team after Peter Moores replaced Duncan Fletcher as head coach following the team's disappointing showing at the World Cup.

The ECB's move was expected after England's pace attack ripped into West Indies in Sunday's one-day victory at Lord's and captain Paul Collingwood said Donald had been a big help.
