Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her children would be among the VVIPs joining Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to witnessing the Indo-Pak one day international in Delhi on April 17.

With the construction work at Ferozeshah Kotla stadium, venue of the high-profile match, still incomplete, burgeoning demand for free passes and limited tickets available for sale, only the lucky ones would be able to watch the historic event on the D-day.

According to sources, Taj Catering has been entrusted with the task of providing delicious foods to the visiting dignitary, the accompanying delegation and the VVIPs while India Habitat Centre would be catering to the gastronomic requirements of those shelling out Rs 11,000 to watch the match from special stands.

Hotel Intercontinental and a prominent Delhi restaurant chain have also been given contracts for serving snacks and foods besides taking care of the food courts at the venue.

In a heartwarming gesture, the Delhi and District Cricket Association would be issuing free food coupons to about 3500 Pakistani cricket fans expected on the day.
