Former BCCI president and current CAB supremo Jagmohan Dalmiya has offered to host all the former Pakistan stalwarts who will be coming as 'Goodwill Ambassadors' during the ODI match at the Eden Gardens on January 3.

The four-member PCB team led by GM (Media Affairs) Nadeem Sarwar met former ICC president Dalmiya on Sunday and had a very fruitful discussion regarding the upcoming match.

"We extended the good wishes to Mr Dalmiya send by our chairman Zaka Ashraf. He in turn told us that Cricket Association of Bengal wants to host all the former Pakistan legends who will be coming as Goodwill Ambassadors. We feel highly honoured and it was a nice gesture by one of the senior-most administrators of the cricketing fraternity," Sarwar said.

The PCB on its part has decided that two former cricketers will be present at each of the five venues Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad.

It was also learnt that Dalmiya had proposed to bear the expenses which may allow the legends to watch all the five international matches.

Dalmiya on his part said,"I acknowledge the initiative taken by PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf to revive the cricketing ties between the two nations. This is a step in the right direction and can eventually bring the two nations closer."
