Anticipating an exciting ODI series against the visiting Bangladesh A team, India A coach Rahul Dravid has said that the three matches will provide a good platform for young Indian players to impress the national selectors.

"It will be an exciting series because it will provide our players to perform against international Bangladeshi players. They have only one uncapped player and rest are all international. We should welcome it. I think it will give our players an opportunity to impress national selectors," Dravid told reporters ahead of the first ODI between India A and Bangladesh A at Chinnaswamy stadium.

In June though the Indian senior team under Mahendra Singh Dhoni suffered a 1-2 loss against Bangladesh in a three-match ODI series, but Dravid insists the disappointing result will not put pressure on the youngsters, who would be facing many an international Bangladesh player in the 'A' team.

"Our players will not be worried about the loss against Bangladesh. They would not like to add extra pressure of thinking about it. Already they are under pressure to perform well," he said.

Dravid also opines that the the three matches will provide ample opportunity for senior batsman Suresh Raina to get match fit before the all-important South Africa series.
