Hussey leaves CLT20 due to 'personal reasons'

Australian batsman Michael Hussey has returned home from the Champions League Twenty20 due to 'personal reasons' after his team was ousted from semifinal contention.

"Australian batsman Mike Hussey exited the Champions League Twenty20 over the weekend to return home to Perth for family reasons," media reports stated.

Michael HusseyA Chennai Super Kings representative confirmed the 37-year-old West Australian had already left the tournament because of 'personal reasons'.

Chennai along with two other Indian Premier League franchises--Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians--have crashed out of the tournament.

Delhi Daredevils are the only IPL franchise still in contention for going ahead.

Hussey played in Chennai's opening match against Sydney Sixers but missed the next two games.
