Bookies offered Rs 60 lakhs for Wednesday's game

The police allege that a deal was struck for Wednesday's game between the Rajasthan Royals and the Mumbai Indians -- to allow 20 runs in an over, reports Manu Shankar

Following the arrests of Rajasthan Royals players S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila on spot-fixing charges, Delhi police sources reveal that the trio has been on ther radar for some time.

S SreesanthWhile Chavan and Chandila will be flown to New Delhi for interrogation, Sreesanth is already being quizzed by the police in Mumbai.

The police allege that a deal was struck for Wednesday's game between the Rajasthan Royals and the Mumbai Indians -- to allow 20 runs in an over.

The bookies had offered Rs 60 lakh/Rs 6 million for this to happen.

The Delhi police alleges that a game between the Kings XI Punjab and the Rajasthan Royals too is under the scanner.

Delhi police detectives arrested Sreesanth from a friend's home in Mumbai on Thursday.

Chavan and Chandila were arrested on Wednesday night from the team hotel in south Mumbai for their alleged role in spot-fixing.
