As uncertainty looms large over the upcoming Indian Premier League [Images], Cricket Association of Bengal insiders hinted on Wednesday evening that the West Bengal government has sent its consent for the IPL series planned for Kolkata's Eden Gardens.

However, CAB officials refused to confirm the news.

Last month, CAB president Jagmohan Dalmiya said Eden Gardens will host all seven home matches of Kolkata Knight Riders [Images] in Indian Premier League this season.

Dalmiya said he had been informed of the decision by KKR co-promoter Jay Mehta.

"There was speculation that this year two matches of the Kolkata Knight Riders may be shifted to Cuttack. We had informed KKR that a decision in this regard would have to be taken soon as the matches start from April 10," Dalmiya had said.

"On behalf of CAB, I have assured KKR of our best cooperation," he had added.
