India will not call of the Australian tour after Harbhajan Singh [Images] was banned for three Test matches.
Rajiv Shukla, vice-president of Board of Control for Cricket in India, said the board would appeal against the ban.
Top former players, including Kapil Dev [Images], Bishen Singh Bedi and Krishnamachari Srikkanth and Navjot Singh Sidhu defended the off-spinner.
