Cricketer Manoj Tiwary, who was injured while practising before the first one-dayer against Bangladesh in Dhaka, has undergone a successful arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder by Dr Andrew Wallace in London.
According to Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) sources, Manoj has been discharged from the hospital and is now staying in a hotel there.
Manoj would be examined again by Dr Wallace on May 30 and if found alright he would leave for Kolkata the next day.
Manoj also spoke to CAB president Prasun Mukherjee after his operation on Thursday. After returning to Kolkata, Manoj would be reporting to Team India physio John Gloster for starting his rehabilitation schedule.
