England captain Michael Vaughan is in doubt for the opening Test against the West Indies, starting at Lord's on May 17.
The English Cricket Board confirmed on Friday that the 32-year-old has a broken finger and said he would have "further assessment".
Vaughan, who has not played in a Test for 18 months due to other injuries, suffered the latest setback while batting for Yorkshire against Hampshire on Thursday.
