Rahul Dravid [Images] on Tuesday admitted that India's inexperienced bowling attack could be a bit of a disadvantage in the forthcoming Test series against England [Images].

"We do have a bit of inexperience in our attack. That can be an advantage and that can be a disadvantage as well. There is some talent in that group and it's really about them now stepping up to the plate. They have got potential and this is a great opportunity for them to go out and show it. They will be trying their best and, hopefully, we will have a good series," he said in London [Images].

India have a relatively inexperienced bowling attack, with just one bowler in Anil Kumble (115) having played over 50 Tests.

Zaheer Khan [Images] comes a distant second with 47 Tests to his credit, while S Sreesanth [Images] (8) R P Singh (4), Ramesh Powar (2), Ishant Sharma (1) and uncapped Ranadeb Bose have played a combine of 15 Tests between them.

Dravid is hoping that a good showing with the bat, with the experience of Sachin Tendulkar [Images], Sourav Ganguly [Images] and himself to fall back on, will make up for it.

"It is going to be about us being really smart. It's about putting the basics in place. When we bat we need to bat well, need to bat for around four or five sessions. We need to bowl in the right areas, bowl with discipline, try to create opportunities and catch those opportunities. So it's about doing the basics well and executing the basics well," he said.

The 34-year-old Karnataka batsman insisted that he has not set any personal goals for himself, and would rather try on focus on doing it for the team.

"My goal is try to get a victory for the team. That is the only goal I have� and try to put in a good performance and we win the game. That is a critical thing. Anything that happens outside of it is incidental.

"The critical thing for us is to try and play some good cricket over the next five days and try to win the match. That is the only goal I have and I hope we will be able to do it," he said.
