Mumbai, who won their last three Ranji Trophy Super League ties by an innings, have included uncapped under-17 spinner Iqbal Abdulla in their 15-member team for their semifinal match against hosts Baroda to be played from January 23-27.
"Abdulla has been playing club-level matches and has represented the Mumbai under-17 team. He will make his first class debut in the semis if he's picked in the eleven," said selection committee convener Ratnakar Shetty.
Amol Muzumdar will lead the squad which will miss the services of pace spearhead Ajit Agarkar, who has been picked for the Indian team for the one-day international series against the West Indies.
Bhavin Thakkar will return in place of Sangram Bagul after missing the last league match against Maharashtra in Nasik.
